Hunting
Vote Cruelty Free welcomes the introduction of the Hunting Act 2004. It provides protection to Britain's wild animals from the cruelty of being chased and torn apart by dogs.
Public support for the ban has remained strong both pre and post-ban. Political support for the ban outweighs opposition across party boundaries and in both rural and urban areas.
Commitments sought from Government
- Ensure robust enforcement of the Hunting Act 2004
- Promote concerted efforts for local police forces and the Crown Prosecution Service
