Vote Cruelty Free has had a successful start to the conference season with 25 candidates signing up to the campaign in Bournemouth. Eight Liberal Democrat MPs pledged their support - Norman Baker, Annette Brooke, Paul Holmes, Mark Hunter, John Leech, Paul Rowan, Bob Russell and Andrew Stunell.
Vote Cruelty Free also hosted a fringe event and Bob Russell MP spoke about the importance of animal issues to the electorate. The concept of animal protection groups working together has proved to be really successful.
Liberal Democrat Leader Rt Hon Nick Clegg MP took time out to visit the Vote Cruelty Free stand and expressed his support for a range of animal protection issues.
