Vote Cruelty Free heads to conference

16th September 2009

Over the next three weeks, the Vote Cruelty Free team will be heading to the Liberal Democrat, Labour and Conservative Party conferences to help as many Prospective Parliamentary Candidates as possible pledge their support for the campaign.

We will be having an exhibition stand, manned by representatives from each of the organisations who will be on hand to answer any questions candidates may have about the campaign or the issues it covers. VCF will also be holding a fringe event at each conference, giving PPCs the opportunity to put their animal protection questions direct to the chief executives of the organisations involved. We have supportive MPs present at each of the events, so they promise to be extremely useful for everyone involved.

As these are the final party conferences before the next general election, the next few weeks represent an excellent opportunity to get candidates to raise the profile of animal welfare issues.
