League Against Cruel Sports leaves Vote Cruelty Free

9th March 2010

As a registered charity, the League Against Cruel Sports has taken the decision, reluctantly, that to continue within the Vote Cruelty Free coalition would risk breaching charity law.

The League withdraws as of 9th March 2010 but wishes the remaining members of the coalition well in their endeavours to end animal cruelty.

Vote Cruelty Free will continue to work on the issue of hunting, which will now be dealt with by IFAW in Action who also cover the issue.
